Elderly is often associated with a decline in the physical and cognitive functions of the human body. As a result, the elderly experience a decrease in body balance which can lead to incidents of falls and result in injuries to the elderly. To prevent this, several methods can be done, one of which is balance training or balance exercise. Method this study uses descriptive research with a case study approach. This study involved two research subjects who were conducted on January 25- February 21, 2023. This research was conducted by focusing on observing the results of the application of balance exercise for 3 weeks with each week 3 times exercise for 15 minutes. Data is presented in the form of writing, sentence descriptions, or narratives, as well as in the form of tables and graphs. Results this study found the results of the two subjects calculated the risk of falling before and after being given and obtained a fixed result of (40). but in the calculation of the balance assessment increased, subject 1 increased from a score of (42) to (53), and subject 2 increased from a score of (47) to (53). Conclusion both subjects experienced a decrease in the risk of falling as seen from an increase in balance. This shows that balance exercise can improve balance in the elderly so that the risk of falling in the elderly can decrease.
