Author Guidelines

1. Articles submitted to Jurnal Keperawatan Terapan must be research articles in the field of health sciences and should present a summary of rsearch findings from studies conducted within the last five (5) years.
2. Articles must be written in English. Manuscripts should be preapred using Microsoft Words, in Times New Roman font, 12-point size, with 1.15 line spacing
3. Research articles should be organized according to the following structure: title, author(s)' name(s), abstract in English accompanied by keywords, introduction, research methods, results, discuccion, conclusion, and references.
4. The article title must nit exceed 14 words. The title should be written in capital letters using 14-point font.
5. Authors' names should be written without academic degrees, accompanied by their institutional affiliations, and placed below the article title. For manuscripts written by a team of authors, the editorial office will communicate only with the corresponding author or the listed first. The first author must provide a correspondence address or email address.
6. The abstract and keywords must be provided in English. Abstract should consist of 200-250 words, while the number of keywords should be 3-5 words. The abstract should include the research objective, methods, and results. The abstract should be written with single line spacing.
7. The introduction should include background, research context, findings from the literature review, and research objectives. The entire introduction should be presented in integrated paragraphs, comprising approximately 15-20% of total length of the article.
8. The methods section should describe, in paragraph form, the research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis procedures actually employed by the researchers. This section should comprise approximately 10-15% of the total length of the article.
9. The results section should present the findings of the analysis relevant to the research questions. Each research finding must be discussed. The discussed should provide an interpretation of the findings and comparisons with relevant theories and/or findings from similar studies. The combined Results and Discussion sections should comprise approximately 40-60% of the total length of the article.
10. The conclusion should present the research findings in the form of answers to the research questions or a synthesis of the main points discussed in the article. The conclusion should be presented in paragraph form
11. The reference list should contain only sources cited in the manuscript, and all sources cited in the manuscript must be included in the reference list. The references should primarily consist of primary sources, such as research articles published in journals or research reports, including undergraduate theses, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations. References in the form of books should preferably be published within the last ten (10) years.
12. In-text citations and references should use the author-date citation style in parentheses, following the Chicago style. For example: (Tsen, Lin, and Chi 1998). Authors are strongly recommended to use a reference management tool such as Mendeley.
13. All manuscripts will undergo anonymous peer review by reviewers and/or expert editors appointed by the Editor-in-Chief based on their areas of expertise. Eac manuscript will be reviewed by two expert reviewers. In the event of conflicting recommendation of a third reviewer will be taken into consideration. Authors will be given the opportunity to revise theirs manuscripts based on the recommendations an/or suggestions provided by the reviewers.
14. Any matters concerning permissions for quotations or the use of computer software in preparing the manuscripts, as well as any other matters related to Intellectual Property Rights arising from the preparation and submission of the manuscript, including any legal consequences that may arise, shall be the sole responsibility of the authors.
15. Articles must meet the plagiarism-free requirement, with a similarity index of <21%. Authors are recommended to use plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin. Proof of the plagiarism check may be submitted/uploaded together with the manuscript during the submission process.
